Having once lived up the road from Pain Perdu, and also having once lived in Lyon, France, I can say without a doubt that Yannick has truly brought the authentic boulangerie/patisserie experience to Toronto.
The coffee is excellent, and the sweets are superb.

This is one great bakery! The breads are wonderful, especially the french bread & buns. Pastries are great. I love the rum babas & birthday cakes. Wide open spaces wheelchair accessible, friendly staff and a very wide assortment of pastries, brrad/runs, pizza delicatessan and prepared foods. Along with all this they also have a small assortment of giftware and food products. Great place to buy lunch dinner or a snack. chjeck them out on John Street North at Cannon.
