Our first visit to the renovated Masaryktown Restaurant was for a Saturday luncheon.
The décor, cleanliness, lighting and view of the park gave us a wonderful first impression. We were given a pleasant welcome by our server, and throughout our meal she was not only attentive but did so with genuine warmth. To top it off, the food was well presented and delicious! We will definitely be back for more!

The oxtail is by far the best thing on this menu!! Especially combined with their amazingly tender and flaky fried dumpling !! Mmmmm. If you special request it the owner does bottle and sell her amazing jerk sauce to make heavenly chicken at home almost as delicious as the owner makes themselves!!! They are kind people, their food is affordable and their catering services are negotiable!!!! They did an amazing job for our family funeral! They will always have my business!!!

Finally got to the Empire today. Cappuccino was really good but the iced tea was absolutely exceptional!! We had the spicy calabrese and the grilled chicken sandwiches. Calabrese was generous; filled with quality meats, pickled eggplant adding some extra pizazz. The grilled chicken was tender, juicy; really beautifully cooked. I’ll be back to try their dinner menu. Looks enticing. Chef Rob, thanks for a great lunch!

Excellent find! I love this place. My friends and I are always finding excuses to head right over to Avenue for lunch... published a paper? Let's do Avenue! got a compliment from the boss? Let's do Avenue! The food is delish ... excellent prices. I've had several of the Quesadillas and pizzas. My favourite, however, is the coffee -- I swear the Cafe Au Lait is the best I've had in the city, the best I've had since my Paris adventure! If you're near, you should stop by!!!!

Love this cafe! Walked in and immediately I was welcomed with smiles by the two women working! I ordered an iced coffee and tuna sandwich. Best iced coffee and sandwich I've had in a long time. I recommend this place to everyone on lakeshore, it's my new place to chill and have my morning coffee.

I cannot tell you how satisfy I am with BB cafe. BB cafe did a AMAZING job with my engagement cake. I can honestly say the work was FLAWLESS! It was done exactly the way I wanted it. This place is incredible!! This is my 3rd visit this week, and will likely visit this at least weekly in the future. Incredibly authentic Italian food, great portions, and the best service i've ever encountered. Vanja and Ljilja were great! They catered our wedding this summer and several smaller family events in connection to it - and the pastries and wedding cake were a resounding success! Our guest were full of praise, and the platters were virtually empty within 20 minutes! Our only regret was not ordering more...
