This was my first time getting a balayage and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Teknik. I got Dil as my hairstylist and she made my hair look gorgeous. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my hair and Dil helped me with that. After my consultation with Dil I trusted her completely with my hair and she made sure my hair wouldn't get damaged. Salon Sensations is a quaint, professional and serene environment to have your girly needs attended to. Even those needs for men, as my husband also attends! Our esthetician, Jo (owner), is friendly, professional, fair and always willing to accommodate our schedules. We receive the best services from Jo and in particular are very familiar with manicures, pedicures, waxings, and facials. The products Jo carries in the salon are exceptional and we've adopted these products for our skin care on a daily basis. Jo is very attentive to not only the quality of her services, but also that of the products that are sold through the salon. We would never hesitate to recommend Jo and the salon to others and in fact, have recommended several people to Jo and they too are now loyal customers. I've had 2 laser tattoo removal treatments with them so far, and overall I'm super happy with everything and the results I've seen. Only negative comment is that getting a tattoo removed really really hurts! Onyx medical is great and I recommend them to anyone considering getting their tattoo removal process started.

Bella Mia was recommended to me by a friend, whose sister-in-law had her hair done there by Armando and spoke very highly of the salon.
I decided to get my hair cut (going from long to quite short) and went in to book an appointment. I was booked in with Harriet for the following Saturday. Harriet didn't want to cut my hair too short, seeing as it was a drastic difference and suggested leaving it a little longer, then if I decided, I could go back and have it shortened.
I did go back, and I have to say for someone who doesn't like going to the hairdresser that I will definitely go back. Harriet did such an amazing job on my hair and I love it more than I thought I ever would. She understood exactly what I wanted with the colour as well as the cut and it turned out perfectly. I am so thrilled to finally have had a positive experience with a hairdresser as well as the salon itself. The staff is courteous and friendly and I will recommend Bella Mia to anyone looking for a new salon.

You cant go wrong with going to see Huong. She pays so much attention to detail ; more than I have experienced anywhere. Pricing is average or better than most. And I was struck by how she recalls exactly the way you had it done before after one visit. No big fancy shop that you would be paying for. Never returned anywhere else after first cut.

I started going to Beautiful Creations Hair Studio for my treatments last summer because it was close to home and my hair was in desperate need of repair! It was dry, brittle and refusing to grow. But Ann-Marie's treatments and trims started the ball rolling in returning my hair to its healthy state! Within months my hair started to look and feel full, the split-ends were gone and my hair was bouncy and shiny! I had natural hair and although i loved it there was a certain look that I was going for that my hair in its natural state just could not grasp; even though I had tried all the curl activating products that are hot on the market right now. So Ann-Marie suggested texturizing to loosen my curls. But I was skeptical because in my opinion texturizing and perming were the same things; and perm was what damaged my hair in the first place! Besides i'd heard too many horror stories from family and friends who had walked in to other hair salons to get a texturize and walked out with bone straight, thin hair. But Ann-Marie patiently educated me on what texturizing was suppose to do and apparently those horror stories were examples of improper texturizing approaches. So after growing weary with not being able to achieve the look I desired I decided to give Ann-Marie's texturizing approach a try and I was blown away by the results! My hair still had its curls but was easier to manage and I was finally able to use the curl activating gels to obtain the look that I so desired! And the compliments I get are clear indications of success! All I can say is that Ann-Marie knows what she is doing! You may walk in to her salon feeling weary but walk out feeling like a winner! I have to say when I treat myself to a special "girls time out" the atmosphere is very important to me. I hadn't enjoyed a service yet and I was feeling the stress melt away.

The studio is clean and comfortable which are great qualities when you need to be there for awhile as you get a colour, cut and highlights. The staff are polite, professional and really listen to what you want as well as have great ideas of their own.
